Moisture Facial

Moisturising facial products are a great way to achieve soft and fresh looking skin. They also have many benefits to the condition of your face as they replenish broken and dry areas of the face.

Why moisturise my skin and face?

Moisturising the skin and face allows moisture that has been lost be replenished. Moisturising helps skin look and feel much softer and younger, dry skin is aging and makes you look unhealthy and dehydrated.

Skin dries out for lots of different especially in winter months.  In winter skin it is important to moisturise skin, as the low temperatures cause the skin to lose moisture and dry out.

People with Oily skin should use a light moisturiser that will not clog the pours, and cause even more oil, causing blemishes and spots. There are special creams available for people with this skin type.

People with dry skin – which is lacking in sebum, require moisture in the form of a very thick cream. The ingredients in the cream will soften and replaces moisture lost by indoor heating and constant temperature changes.

How to moisturise my face?

Your morning routine should start with the washing of your face with warm water. Pat your face and neck dry with a fresh towel. After cleansing and toning, apply a moisturiser designed for your skin type. Pay close attention to the T-Zone, checks and neck. Avoid the delectate eye area, and try not to get it in your ears or nose. If you are unsure what you skin type is, seek advice from a beauty consultant– who will work at the store you are purchasing your creams from.

Remember – before going to bed each night, to remove all traces of makeup, and apply a night time moisturiser – which will be lighter in consistency, and you will be ready to restart your daily routine in the morning.
